Job Summary: The Client Onboarding Specialist manages the onboarding process from start to finish, guiding the client through the beginning stages of the customer journey. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire onboarding process, ensuring all steps in the process are planned, executed, and communicated accordingly to both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed client onboarding plans and proactively communicate to all stakeholders throughout the customer journey to create consistency and set onboarding expectations
  • Guide both the client and internal teams through the onboarding process, addressing concerns and managing deadlines
  • Communicate directly with the clients to answer onboarding questions and explain processes
  • Ensure required documentation (pricing agreements, statements of work, preferences) is completed, and digitally stored for reference.
  • Identify onboarding barriers and work collaboratively with Sales and Operations, and Accounting teams to resolve issues
  • Enter and update data in the CRM system and proprietary NCS Credit systems
  • Schedule, lead, and attend discovery calls, onboarding meetings, etc., and facilitate client training

Education, Experience, Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 3 plus years of experience in a client-facing role with project management responsibilities

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouse
  • Near visual acuity
  • Advanced ability to present information clearly and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to management, clients, and other staff members
  • Prolonged sitting while viewing a computer monitor
