Are you looking for an opportunity to be involved with a wide range of marketing projects for a small B2B company where you can make a significant impact? Do you love to write and/or create content (written, visual, digital, video, voice, etc.) that tells a compelling story and provides value? Our ideal candidate is bold, savvy, hardworking and prompt, with an eye for detail and a fundamental understanding of how to transform basic copy into dynamic content and engaging campaigns. We are a fast-paced, small, but nimble marketing team, looking to work with someone who will transform content into show-stopping experiences, inspiring action from our clients or prospects, as well as monitor and track the success of campaigns.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Gain thorough knowledge of all products, services, and competitors to stay ahead of market trends
  • Create, edit, optimize, and strategize the direction and/or distribution of content
  • Work with leadership, sales reps and other team members to update/repurpose marketing collateral to ensure content—regardless of its format—is interesting, relevant, and discoverable
  • Develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels
  • Participate in brainstorming campaigns that play a critical role with inbound marketing strategy
  • Find conventional and unconventional ways to create and use content to build awareness, consideration, and affect decision stages
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, while executing assigned tasks/projects in a timely and professional manner
  • Research internal resources, competitors, and other industries to find new content ideas and strategies
  • Analyze and report performance for all platforms and campaigns, including using Google Analytics (G4) to track website performance
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Required Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Excellent communication skills, with an unselfish approach to writing specifically for marketing purposes
  • Ability to create high-quality content that focuses on the target audience, and keeps SEO best practices in mind
  • Exceptional editing skills, masterful research and analysis skills
  • Proactive problem-solver, intuitiveness and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate strong, “work smarter, not harder” work ethic
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office (Word, PPT & Excel)
  • Tech-savvy, capable and willing to learn new systems, procedures, and processes
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities & meet strict project deadlines
  • Experience with WordPress and HTML
  • Graphic design and video production/editing experience a plus

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in the marketing field, B2B and/or credit industry experience a plus
  • Experience leading and managing marketing campaigns (email, social media, advertising)
