In-House Administrator

Job Summary

The In-House Administrator is responsible for reviewing collection files and communicating with clients regarding commercial collection matters.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Review suit changes, settlement offers, and disputes on commercial collection matters with clients
  • Review client documentation including invoices, statements of account, contracts, proofs of delivery, and other related business documents
  • Regularly run follow-up reports and address cases requiring attention in a timely manner
  • Answer client inquiries on specific files
  • Scan and copy documents for filing
  • Notify clients and internal staff of impending deadlines including suit deadlines or statutes of limitations
  • Provide feedback and direction to collectors that communicate with debtors
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-year administrative experience in a legal or financial services setting

  • Prolonged sitting while viewing a computer monitor
  • Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouse
